What we collect

Contact details you enter: name, company, email, phone or WhatsApp number and preferred contact method.

Brief content: your project description, budget expectation, timelines, locations, reference links and any files you upload.

Payment metadata returned by our payment provider: order and payment identifiers, amount and status. Card and bank details are never seen or stored by us.

Basic technical data needed to operate and protect the service: IP address and submission timestamps, used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

Why we collect it

To prepare and deliver the Production Assessment or Production Blueprint you requested.

To contact you about your brief and send transactional confirmations.

To take and reconcile payment.

To keep the service secure and prevent abuse, and to meet record-keeping obligations.

Uploaded files

Scripts, decks, storyboards, audio and video are stored in private storage. They are never publicly listed and are opened only through short-lived signed links by the producer working on your brief.

We do not sell your information and we do not use your material to train any model.

Who processes your data

We use the following categories of service provider, each processing data only on our instructions:

A managed cloud database, authentication and private file storage provider.

A transactional email provider, for confirmations and delivery emails.

A payment gateway, for taking and verifying payment.

Application hosting infrastructure.

Card and bank details are handled entirely by the payment provider and never reach our servers.

How long we keep it

Brief content and uploaded files are retained for the duration of the engagement and for up to 24 months afterwards, so we can answer questions about work delivered. Payment records are retained for as long as required for accounting purposes. You may ask us to delete your files at any time.

Your rights

You can at any time:

Ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.

Ask us to correct anything inaccurate.

Ask us to delete your brief and uploaded files.

Withdraw consent to further contact.

To exercise any of these, email hello@filmydistrict.com from the address you used to submit your brief. We respond within 30 days.

Grievances

Send any complaint about how your data has been handled to hello@filmydistrict.com. We acknowledge within three working days.
